Last year was a real turning point for Burna Boy, thanks to his magnum opus, Outside, as well as the release of some of the best singles and features of his career. Overwhelmed by so much great work from him, it seems we all managed to miss his standout appearance on Mr Dutch's "E No Finish".
Kel P and Burna Boy make a solid pairing, as is evident by his singles from last year, such as "Gbona", "On The Low" and "Killing Dem". Given that the Kel P-produced "E No Finish" was also released around the same time as those tracks, it's baffling that it didn't become a big hit.
On the track, Burna Boy channels Fela, bragging about his dominance in the music industry and promising that he's only just getting started. Mr Dutch, who also delivers on the track, comes in with a solid verse in Igbo, singing about the good life one lives after making money.
Like everything Burna Boy was a part of last year — from his solo releases to his unbelievable features — "E No Finish" proves the afro-fusion star is on a different level. Who else is talented enough to have a collab this good get drowned out by a sea of other impressive tracks?
