Last year, Adekunle Gold dropped his fantastic sophomore album, About 30, and one of the project’s strongest tracks was the immensely moving "Ire". Now, he’s released a remix that considerably ups the tempo of that introspective gem and makes it a total party-starter.
While the original version was brilliantly produced by Seyikeyz, who did an impressive job of letting the track’s deep and meaningful lyrics have plenty room to breathe, the Pheelz-produced remix is more interested in making you want to get up and dance.
For the remix’s video, we follow an adorable kid who dances around Venice to the EDM-influenced remix. While Adekunle Gold doesn’t show up, he isn’t really missed, as the kid’s killer dance moves and the stunning city around him keep us engaged from start to finish
