Last year, Ed Sheeran visited Ghana to seek new influences for his third studio album, Divide, and found Ghana's finest: Fuse ODG and R2Bees.
This birthed the song "Bibia Be Ye Ye", which ended up being a fan favourite on the album, and got a stunning music video which was centred around Ghanaian culture.
Following this positive reception, it's no surprise the pair came together again for a second song, "Boa Me". Produced by Killbeatz, who also worked on "Bibia Be Ye Ye", the track is the lead single on Fuse ODG's upcoming sophomore album.
Fuse ODG's energy on "Boa Me" is as warm and buoyant as it usually is, and paired with the feel-good beat, it sounds like something that should come at the end of the new Lion King movie. Singing in Twi, Ed Sheeran also does a great job on the chorus. His accent doesn't sound inauthentic and his dreamy vocals compliment Fuse ODG's quite well.
