Ryan Reynolds has just tweeted out a letter urging people not to let slip any spoilers from Deadpool 2, which is set to open in cinemas on May 16.
The note, penned by the Canadian actor's character Wade Wilson, asks fans not to "say a fucking word" about the action and revelations in the new Marvel movie.
Sharing his plea on Twitter, Reynolds also quipped that Deadpool dies in the sequel and that it would be "super lame" to spill the beans about it.
"To the greatest fans in the whole universe," the letter says.
"We have embarked on the 'Deadpool 2: This is Kind of Your Guys' Fault' World Tour."
"Almost everyone involved in the film has given Maximum Effort the past two years, maintaining the highest level of super secrets, like how David Blaine catches bullets in his mouth.
"And the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in Colonel Sanders' delicious moustache.
"Only a handful of people know the film's true plot. One of them is not Ryan Reynolds.
"We're asking that when you see Deadpool 2, you don't say a fucking word about the fun shit in the movie. Cause it'd be super lame to spoil the fact that Deadpool dies in this one.
"Kidding. Not kidding. Kidding?"
This is a weird time for Marvel fans.— SHAUNWAN SAW IW 2x (@SIayDragons) May 7, 2018
We've seen infinity war and we're depressed af but at the same time we're excited for Deadpool 2 which comes out in 10 days. We're caught in the space between utter misery and total euphoria it's so trippy
The letter is signed "Godspeed" with the hashtag: "#WadeWilsonDemandsYourSisterSorryStupidAutoCorrectSilence".
As some fans have pointed out, the "20th Century Fox" letterhead in the note is crossed out and replaced with "TBD" because of the recent acquisition deal by Disney.
"So topical," one fan responded.
Reynolds has also expressed his dismay at Canada being snubbed from the Eurovision Song Contest that "you guys lose your shit over".
"Our generous gift of Céline Dion alone should earn us an invite. You let in Australia and they're barely on the planet," he explains.
