Ridley Scott Has Plans For A Third 'Blade Runner' Movie

At 80 years old, Ridley Scott appears to have a never-ending supply of creativity and energy.

Just a couple of months after reshooting his latest movie All the Money in the World, the director opened up about the possibility of another Alien movie before finding himself in talks to lead Disney's new live action Merlin movie. Thought he would leave it there? Don't be ridiculous.

Asked about a potential third Blade Runner movie in a recent interview Digital Spy, the tireless filmmaker gave a pretty positive-sounding response. He said:

"I hope so. I think there is another story. I've got another one ready to evolve and be developed, so there is certainly one to be done for sure."

Given that Scott already worked on the Blade Runner 2049 script and that studios basically trust him blindly, we're guessing that it's not that far-fetched to imagine there will be a third movie in the saga.

Nonetheless, nothing has been officially announced for the moment. Fingers crossed we won't have to wait another 25 years...
