Big changes lie ahead for the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a number of main characters expected to be killed off in the fourth Avengers movie when it hits in May 2019.
But while the future of your favorite heroes may be hanging in the balance, we also have a new Guardians of the Galaxy movie to look forward to. Today, the film's writer and director James Gunn has finally dropped an estimated release date for the upcoming third instalment in the franchise.
Amid much speculation, Gunn took to Twitter with a simple message revealing that the next chapter is "Coming in 2020". With a little while still to go until the movie hits theaters, attention is turning back to Marvel's other big-screen projects.
A little while ago, we learnt that a second Spider-Man: Homecoming movie was in the works (with a release date set for July 2019), with rumours of another Doctor Strange film also making the rounds. Beyond that, the studio's Black Widow project is also coming along nicely with news that screenwriter Jac Schaeffer has joined the team.
Basically, we've got a lot to look forward to before 2020. You can start by finding out which of your favorite Marvel characters will make it through Avengers: Infinity War, set for release on April 25.
