Preparations for the 25th James Bond movie have been pretty confusing so far. Firstly, there was uncertainty over who was set to direct, with Christopher Nolan's name being tossed around before Danny Boyle became the new favorite.
Next up, there was the vital question of who will be the next oo7? While we had our bets on men-of-the-moment Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy, it looks like Daniel Craig has finally decided to return to the iconic role.
Asked recently by Associated Press whether James Bond would be his next project, Craig quickly answered 'Yes'. He was, however, more coy when quizzed about Boyle's involvement simply smiling and saying "we’ll see, we’ll see".
This will be Craig's fifth turn as James Bond – despite the fact he said he was abandoning the part two years ago. While few details about the project have been given for now, we do know that it's set to be called James Bond 25 and that Boyle is currently writing a script with his partner in crime John Hudge (Trainspotting, The Beach, A Life Less Ordinary).
It's thought that shooting will begin as soon as Boyle has finished work on Beatles musical, All You Need Is Love. James Bond 25 is therefore expected for release around the end of 2019.
