British-Nigerian Actor, David Ajala Is The Newest Scene-Stealer On 'Supergirl'

On Sunday night, a new episode of The CW's hit show, Supergirl aired, and fans got introduced to the most exciting new character the series has had in a while, Manchester Black — played to charismatic perfection by British-Nigerian actor, David Ajala.

In just one episode, Ajala got to show off his impressive acting range — going from calculated and vengeful to hurt and broken — and that explains why fans of the show are already curious to know how long the fantastic character will stick around.

Supergirl has had a revolving door of characters joining the show in recent times, and this iteration of Manchester Black – who is described as "the type of guy who brings a knife to a gunfight and still walks away the winner" — is honestly too good to let go off just yet.

What else is David Ajala up to?

Playing the iconic DC character isn't all Ajala is currently doing. He recently wrapped on an upcoming TV show based on a novella and series of short stories by Game Of Thrones' George R. R. Martin, Nightflyers; and is currently in the pre-production phase of the fantasy-thriller, Sacrilege.

Ajala also starred in a few big films, like Jupiter Ascending, Fast & Furious 6 and 2008's acclaimed hit, The Dark Knight, where he played a bounty hunter. So, if you didn't know his name before now, you better learn it, because David Ajala is on the verge of superstardom.
