Cinema culture is growing in Nigeria, and fans of the big screen do not hold back when a new Nollywood film is released. This is evident in the box office numbers we've seen recent films doing, and based on that, we've just got a ranked list of the 10 highest grossing Nollywood actors.

According to the list, collated by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, Falz was 2018's most bankable star, appearing in three films — New Money, Merry Men & Chief Daddy — that grossed over 5oo million. Following him closely behind is RMD, whose top three films came to a total of 496 million.

Although the men earned the top two positions, the list also happens to be filled with an equal number of talented female actors, including Osas Ighodaro (Merry Men), Chigul (Chief Daddy), Funke Akindele (Moms At War) and Toni Tones (King Of Boys).
