One of the fears that fans had when Bake Off changed channels (and presenters) was that the beloved puns and innuendo that had made the show so cheesy would be lost.
However if last night's episode is anything to go by, we needn't have worried. Twitter was set ablaze by viewers sharing their amusement at Julia's bread 'snail' and Paul's creepy demonstrations of how to correctly finger a cottage loaf.
The puns were totally on point last night, with even a nice reference to another legendary reality series, RuPaul's Drag Race.
This had RuPaul fans in hysteria, shouting "Yas Queen!" and posting their fave gifs from the show in appreciation of this surprising mash-up.

Star Baker went to Julia, whose showstopper had Paul Hollywood giggling like a teenager, and had many viewers pointing out that Freud would've had a lot to say about this episode.
The GBBO twitter account was on top form, rising to the occasion and using their loaf when it came to sharing viewer's best comments and puns.

Fan favourite of the week went to Yan who's geeky references to Star Wars and her scooter-related injury had everyone smiling.
However, it was heartbreak for Flo who left the tent and was giving us flashbacks of when Val left last season. Despite the outcry across social media, the show has said it's taking no prisoners when it comes to who gets cut.
