Die Antwoord released a video for their son "Cookie Thumper" and no surprise there, the video is as crazy as the music is. The video is about a "Die Antwoord love story" from a girl in an orphanage and a man that just came out of jail. It's vulgar, unusual and close to get banned; as usual, you like it or not.

Justin Vernon releases single “Byegone” with Volcano Choir

Justin Vernon, better known as being the mastermind of Bon Iver, has another band. Not many people know about it, but this side projectis named Volcano Choir and recently released a single. [caption id="attachment_90847" align="aligncenter" width="620"] It's always summertime for Justin[/caption] Since 2007, Justin Vernon has been on the roads all over the world touring with Bon Iver; his folk band composed of Mike Noyce and Sean Carey. Though the Eau Claire native (Wisconsin) is a man of many tastes and passions. Beside being fond of fly fishing - yes - Justin is also keen on indie and psychedelic rock. A passion he used to form another band called Volcano Choir, created in 2005. Being too busy with his oneiric folk project, Bon Iver, Vernon hasn't released anything with Volcano Choir in 4 years. Quite a long wait for his fans, who would be thrilled to know that a second LP titled Repave, will be out this autumn. In the meantime, Volcano Choir's first single, "Byegone" has been unveiled:

Idris Elba will play Nelson Mandela in biopic

Idris Elba won. He got his first very big role in a motion picture: he will play Nelson Mandela. An Oscar material role. It's been 40 years that only one actor was expected to play Mandela on screen and it was Morgan Freeman. It has even become a joke circulating on the streets and on the social networks. But Hollywood's studios had some ethics: you can't make a biopic when the person is still alive. Though this decency has its time limit and the man who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 is 94 years old. It was time to launch the biopic. Too late for Freeman then but perfect timing for Idris Elba. The actor known for playing in The Wire was chosen to play the lead role in the biopic titled Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. A motion picture directed by English director Justin Chadwick who will tell the story "Madiba's" life from his childhood until being President of South Africa. The screenplay was inspired by an autobiography of the former prisoner n°46664, published in 1994. Naomie Harris will be part of the cast too. Mandela, will hit theaters in the States on November 29 and in the UK on January 3rd 2014. aux Etats-Unis.

Every day we will talk about an upcoming artist, a brand new track,an unmissable acoustic video, or simply something we really fell for while wandering on the internet. Today is about Thundercat's album Apocalypse which was released last month. It gathers Flying Lotus' best, though it's understandable as he co-produced it. If you're listening to Flying Lotus, then you might be familiar with the band Thundercat; indeed, being Flying Lotus' protege, Thudercat was featured on "DMT Song", from Flying Lotus' album Until The Quiet Comes. Thundercat's album Apocalypse was released on June 5th, and the first single was the song below.

Nabil, who previously directed videos for prestigious artists such as Kanye West, James Blake or Bon Iver, also directed Foals's latest NSFW video 'Late Night'. In 'Bad Habit' video, lead singer Yannis Philippakis is trudging in the desert following a naked ginger girl and seeing mirages. Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street: new trailer

The Wolf of Wall Street is Martin Scorsese's much awaited upcoming film. It brings us into the finances world and it stars mighty Leo DiCaprio. Today a very, very mouth-watering trailer has been unveiled. [caption id="attachment_90451" align="aligncenter" width="476"] Leo plays a poor person once again[/caption] It doesn't seem like it, but Martin Scorsese hasn't released a film per se since Shutter Island in 2010. We have nothing against animated films (Hugo Cabret) or documentaries (George Harrison: Living in the Material World), but we're missing the good old Scorsese, involving alcohol and cigars. It's been hard enough to wait until his next film, The Wolf of Wall Street, release, due out on November 15 (US), January 17 (UK). Now we've seen the trailer it's even harder to wait. A crazy trailer starring DiCaprio wearing his best suit and cheering with champagne, but also carrying a monkey and throwing dwarfs! The Wolf isn't an apology to capitalism and the dollar though. It tells the real-life story of Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio), a New York stockbroker who's approached by the FBI to cooperate in a large securities fraud case. Refusing to cooperate, he spent 22 months in jail. A perfect role for DiCaprio. The supporting actors' list is quite impressive too; with Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Jon Favreau, Rob Reiner and even Spike Jonze, whom we haven't seen in a motion picture since Hannibal in 2001. Already cult.

After his album release The Golden Age, Woodkid unveiled a new version of his song 'I Love You' featuring the American rapper Angel Haze; today sir Pharrell Williams gave it the remix treatment and it's pretty pleasant. Indeed, Pharrell turned the song into a lighter and poppier version. Woodkid's pretty distinctive voice is mingling pretty well with Pharrell's pop touch. Quite an unexpected but pleasant remix. Girls season 38: the parody 40 years ahead

Did you ever get bored with Hannah's oh so repetitive egocentric problems? Well, this is not near to the end. Will&Grace producer Gail Lerner wrote and directed this very good parody in which we can see the 4 heroins 40 years from now.It's called GIRLS season 38. 40 years from now, Hannah is still desperately looking for inspiration and Marnie for Charlie. Jessa has cancer and experiences it as a gift from God and Shoshana is still extremely annoying. This super anticipated episode seems sadly realistic about the future of the show. After a first season that felt like a breath of fresh air into the very loaded library of TVshows these days, the second season seemed more like a repetition of the first one. Though the criticism seemed tough, Leena Dunham, creator, producer and actress of the show - who's known for her good sense of auto-derison and humor- tweeted on Monday :"I'm afraid this might be better than our show".
