Last year, we learned that Insecure standout, Yvonne Orji will be making her big screen debut in Night School, a comedy with Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart. However, we barely saw her in the first trailer, which suggests that her role isn't as substantial as we had hoped.
Now, as the release date draws closer, a new trailer has just been released, giving us more insight into the other supporting characters in the film.
Kevin Hart has been a box office draw in comedies for years, and given that Tiffany Haddish has some heat behind her following her fantastic breakout role in the acclaimed Girls Trip, it only makes sense that these two team up.
Night School follows the story of a former grill salesman, Teddy (Hart) who is desperate to get his GED so he can finally get a job that makes him feel accomplished. On this mission, he meets his match in his unconventional and obnoxious night school teacher (Haddish), who doesn't let him get away with his usual tricks and shortcuts.
In the second trailer, we get to see a lot more of the stellar cast — save for Orji and the other Nigerian-American star, Megalyn Echikunwoke — who all seem to be just as funny as Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. Night School is set to premiere on September 28.
