Comics supervillains revisited and mashed-up with real life bad guys

What if comics supervillains met reality? How would they look like? Who would they be? See below for illustrated answers.

George W.Bush as Two-face, Joseph Staline as Kraven the hunter or Mao Zedong as Darkseid and Mark Zuckerberg as Loki. The faces of these former dictators, former US presidents, or CEO of the biggest social network are being used to divert the popular comics supervillains.

All those bad guys from American comics we hated back in the days : from Marvel’s super bads (Loki, Kraven) to D.C Comics (The Joker).

Those illustrations were created by a certain Billy The Butcher, a Brazilian graphic designer. According to him, his work illustrates an evolution in the way we see comics; The contents are closer to reality now:

If back in the day comics and movies were pretty naive and faced only as pure escapism, today’s fiction has to evoke reality to create something truly meaningful… and frightening. The depressing thing? Realising that if the comic book supervillains were actually the ones threatening real life, the world wouldn’t be such a bad place.

He then specifies :

Some might say all art is a reflection of the times we live in.
