Converse's 'Chuck Taylor II' Has Got A New Look

Initially available in canvas and in muted colours (black, white, gray, burgundy ...), the Chuck Taylor II is now getting a new look. Converse unveiled its new flagship model in four colours: black, blue, green and yellow, made of knitted and reflective material, giving the sneaker that subtle touch of elegance and sophistication while still being as comfortable as ever.

The Chuck Taylor II: focus on comfort

Created in the US in 1917, the Converse Chuck Taylor became iconic in recent decades, particularly when it got adopted by bands and artists such as the Rolling Stones, Kurt Cobain, and Guns N 'Roses (Mick Jagger even got married wearing them). It was a cool and decidedly timeless look, and it has gained renewed momentum.

At a time when the sneaker industry is all about well-being and performance, Converse decided to modernise the Chuck in July 2015. They gave the updated shoe soles moulded with the latest Nike Lunarlon technology and a more refined look. The Chuck Taylor II was born and it keeps on reinventing itself.
